Project Principals and Objectives: We assisted the main contractor, Muir with the planning application drawings to gain planning consent for the estate of properties and assisted them to develop the programme of works to deliver to the Client’s specification.
As we hold the Kitemark for survey and installation, this is carried out by Sovereign as standard. Any design issues were discussed at the beginning of the contract to offer any innovation ideas that we could offer.
Innovation and improvements: A Pilot flat was delivered at the beginning of the program and installed, this set the minimum level of quality that had to be achieved and approved upon for the rest of the project. The Main Contractor carried out regular inspections and required 100% inspection at handover, which was achieved.
